Why Home-Made Food? About Haadi's
I grew up in a family where home-made food was as much a part of life as eating. My grandma was a great cook who loved cooking meals and feeding others. She was a traditional but pioneer-type cook and queen of flavours. I have learnt a lot from her and that’s why I’ve always had passion for cooking.
For me cooking was always a stress reliever. I’d spend whole day in work and then come home to the part of life I love the most, cooking fresh meal for my family and gather around the dinner table and eat together. It takes me back to the time where I feel like a kid again and looked forward to my grandma’s special meals she use to make for us.
I understand everyone is different and where I see cooking as meditation others see it differently. We are busy, busy people and cooking takes planning, grocery shopping, effort, it is time consuming and it feels like a burden when you are too tired and you don’t have energy to cook.
But we can’t ignore the fact that there are many health benefits of home-made food. If you eat home-made food, you are consuming less processed food, and sugar. Home-made food is free of preservatives and additives and it is also linked with higher energy level and better mental health. Home-made meals are more healthy and nutritious.
The idea of Haadi’s Healthy Meal came when I cook meal for my family I always felt nothing brings me more joy than feeding a good balanced meal to my family as well as friends and people around me. A few of my work colleagues and friends who tried my food asked me if I can cook for them, as after a long day in work they don’t have energy to put a cooked dinner on table. They liked my home-made meals and were happy with the fact that with my cooking tweaks I turn the comfort food into a healthier version and it tastes fresh and delicious.
I then realized there are a lot of people like them who struggle with meal planning while juggling a busy life and wants to eat fresh home-made food with no preservatives and additives but finds it hard to cook dinner every night and have a packed home-made lunch for next day. This is where I turned my passion into business.
This was the start of Haadi’s Healthy Meal Food Service which are the Healthy Home-Made Comfort Meals delivered to your doorstep or to your work desk.
I take great pride in every home-made meal I prepare. My aim is to make life a little easier for busy people and cook them good healthy comfort food with the fresh ingredients that they can enjoy with their family at the dinner table or at their work desk.
